True change can only come from within. To transform underserved and poverty-stricken communities around the world from places of loneliness and disease into communities of resiliency and health, we have to raise children from those communities to become competent, confident, caring leaders. We have to equip them to thrive in life, in spite of their circumstances. We have to commit to them with our whole hearts so they can become homegrown heroes.
